Dear Bruce,

                          June has been a blast. Mum and dad are getting along well and JJJ and Augustus came back. Do you know who Augustus is? Well, he was a former classmate of mine and is still my friend. He got shipped out to America last year in August. He has slimmed down... alot since I last saw him. His chest and arms has also grown bigger too. He got 5th place in Junior Varsity wrestling!!! Wow!!! Considering his stature and the stature of Americans, he actually got 5th place!!! You might be wondering why am I talking so much about him right? Let me explain, he is a really quite boy with a nice smile, a big heart, and a good listener (in my opinion). Even with his high social status, he isn't proud or boastful.He does'nt look down on people and is helpful and caring. There is just something so nice about him. Everytime I meet him I just want to give him a huge hug . But strangely something stops me everytime. I just like him alot (I'm not gay). I really do wish sometimes he was my older brother.

Justin Lim (JL) and his punishment

I have a friend named Justin,
Whose sirname is Lim.


He has to stand
Because he couldn't comprehend
Teacher's warning about writing with the red ink pen.


He drew from the tip of Ivan's finger all the way to the bicep;
Thankfully the line didn't extend to the tricep.


Ivan cried, "What have you done?
I'm going to call for teacher to come!"


Soon teacher arrivesl;
And cries,


"What have you done boy?,
Ivan's arm is not a toy!"


"Now I'm going to let you choose to either write 100 lines
or stand for a month for your terrible crimes."


(By now teacher has taken his chair
and has placed it in her lair.)


(She has also taken his flag
and has placed it on her table with a smack.)


Justin decides, " I'd rather stand
Because I'm sure I can."


"Writing 100 lines is way tougher
Though it would be embarrassing when my teacher meets my mother."


Right now he is getting a severe lecture
from our teacher.


Whenever JL is around, we are always in gags

True Friendship

   Many people today feel isolated and left out from others. Being in a crowd but no one seems to notice you? Ever felt that way? Well, people who face this doesn't need to hear "Have a nice day." Gosh, they don't need that! What they really need are friends who will stick close, listen, care and show love and concern to them. You never know. They may look fine and perfectly normal on the outside when actually, they may be facing huge problems. They just need someone who will help them as they go through this rough time. For all you know they maybe withdrawing because of the problems they are facing. Don't put them down when they look emo or sad. It will make them feel even worse. Instead, sit down and ask him/her whats the matter. It will help the person a lot by showing him/her that there is someone who still cares.

   In Proverbs 18:24 it says;

                                     There are "friends"who destroy each other,
                                      but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.


There you have it! An excellent verse that teaches us how to reach out to someone and be their friend. It also tells us what a true friend really is. Let this verse be your be your guideline in your friendships.

   Pray that:

               -God will reveal to you the people that need friends. True friends.
               -God will help you be their friend.
               -God will help and be with this type of people (the ones who need friends)
                that you know.

I'm so happy!!! I finally have an e-mail, facebook, and now this blog. I'm thrilled beyond words. Thank you Lord after all this time waiting!!! Hopefully this will be the first of many entries to come. ^^
